I am trying to upgrade to the full version and I get a message stating that the purchase cannot be completed at this time and to restart my device ( which I did numerous times). I have been a loyal Norton fan for some time now and would like to know why it is that I cannot purchase NMS for my Motorola Milestone 2, running Froyo. If Norton could possibly make it possible to purchase NMS directly from the Norton store as well.

Are you trying over Wifi or 3G? The Android Market isn't the only place to purchase Norton Mobile Security. What country are you located in?

Maybe you can try the below steps:
1. Goto Settings -> Applications -> Select Market -> Force Stop and clear cache and data
2. Goto Settings -> Applications -> Select Norton Security -> Force Stop and clear data
3. Re-launch Market and agree EULA
4. Then re-launch Norton Mobile Security and try to purchase again
Hope it will solve your problem. :)

I have a somewhat similar problem. I tried to upgrade from Lite to Full but the purchase seems to have timed out. I got an email from Google Checkout (see below) that it was cancelled. But when I now try to purchase it, Norton says I have an order pending so this order can't be completed. I tried stopping both Market and Norton, clearing the cache and data, and restarting. I tried uninstalling Norton and reinstalling. I tried rebooting my Droid. Still the same problem. I have a Droid X from Verizon, Android 2.3, an SD card.

Sorry to hear of your problems. I was aware of an issue with tablets where the purchase appeared to go through but then went back to the Lite version but I had not heard of such problems with a phone. I'm not sure that anyone on this forum will be able to help you, so you will probably be better off going directly to the Norton support link. Given your reference to Verizon I assume you will want the English support page which I think is:
Hope they can help.
Bye the way.. I was really impressed by your post which seems to contain all the potentially relevant information, was clear about the problem, did not complain and showed you had tried hard to solve the problem yourself. Well done! Pity I can't help you after all that.

Thanks for the comments, both as to how to solve my problem, and the reference to my post. More self-reliance and less anger will help make this a better world, and I try to practice what I preach.
