I have installed Norton Mobile Security Lite from Google Play on my HTC One XL (Ice Cream Sandwich) but when I try to upgrade to the full version I get the message "Cannot complete this purchase - Android market is not installed". Android Market no longer exists and has been replaced by Google Play. How do I get around this?

Hi dpt5022
Welcome to the Norton Community Forum. :-)
You could try uninstalling Norton Mobile Security Lite and download again
form Google Play Store and then try the upgrade again
If that does not work you coud try and clear data from the Google Play app
in the Applications Settings on your device.
Menu > Settings > Applications > Google Play Store > Clear Data.
Then restart the Google Play Store app then close it and reopen it a few
times maybe even reboot your device then the Google Play Store app
should update to latest version again. If it does not happen straight away
it will happen in a short time after using the app a few times.
Then again unistall NMS and download again and install then try the upgrade
again and see how you go.
Let us know how you go.
