Welcome to the Community.
The simple answer is - use your password! Have you tried all your likely passwords and taken into account that it is case sensitive (i.e. it sees an "a" as different from an "A").
Other than that - did you have the Norton Anti-Theft plugin loaded?
Can your buddy get his old phone number back at all?

I truly am very thankful for all your help in my time of need, however.!
A Great day to you!!

What if I don't have any buddy listed because my phone is still newly bought. What am I supposed to do to unlock it without using a password and a buddy?

Hello again dainver.
If your phone is new then it will not have the Anti-Theft features of Norton Mobile Security (NMS) activated. And so NMS will not lock it.
When NMS is installed and the Anti-Theft feature activated you have to set up a password which will unlock it and you will be strongly advised to set up at least two buddies who can also unlock it should you forget your password.
Obviously the software is designed to prevent anyone without the password or buddy cannot unlock the device, as this would get around the security users have paid for.
Does that help?
