What is the difference between NMS LITE Upgraded to "Full Version" via android market, and the NMS 2.0 my local dealer sell?
Theres a price diff. around 25 dollar here in sweden, a bit too much for a box.

Hi knutsson79 - you may want to wait for a Norton employee to give the definitive answer (but on a US as opposed to European timeframe) but as far as I am aware there should be little or no detectable difference between the two other than the one in the box will be linked directly to Norton Servers and the one on the Android Market will go through Google servers - all of which should make little or no difference.
Hope that helps.

As Mike noted, the differences are going to be slight. The retail box version is the 2.0 version while the Android Market version is 2.2. There are a few fixes that are in 2.2 that aren't in 2.0, but the 2.0 version is the next to be updated. The major differences are how the subscription is handled (key activation vs in app purchase via the Android Market).
For instances where you reset your device, the retail version is much easier to recover your license.
Are you saying that the retail copy is 25 USD more expensive than the Android Market version? That seems very strange to me.

Thanks for the reply Andmike. I think I have to clarify my post a bit.
LITE upgrade via market will cost me 12 SEK ( about 1.7 USD )
2.0 from local store will cost me 199 SEK ( about 28.4 USD )
mark_kanok, Symantec Employee, have posted here on this forum that:
"there is the option to upgrade to the full featured Norton Mobile Security for an annual subscription price of $29.99USD"
The thing is, if its exactly the same product I will feel misled and deceived.. Paying that much for a packing!

That's strange. It could be a temporary problem on the Android Market. I know that there had been some temporary deals on the Android Market, but I think the price your mentioning is a mistake.

Viewed it once again on my phone, says 10 SEK for the NORTON MOBILE SECUITY One Year License + 2.1 SEK with Taxes.
Thats about 1.7 USD

Looks like there's a mistake in the Market for Sweden. I need to check with someone on what the actual price should be in Sweden, but it should be either very close or identical to the 199 SEK price you mentioned (is that with or without tax?). Someone will be correcting the price today.

Most physical stores here in sweden take around 199 SEK for NMS 2.0, some more others less as usual

At that price knutsson79 .. get the one from the Market before Erik can get the price put up. You will have a lot of envious readers on this forum!

Thanks for alerting us to this problem knutsson79.
