I have Norton Security on my phone. Can someone tell me how to actually activate the SCREAM feature????? I've been through like 10 web pages trying to find the correct link. It's **bleep**ing stupid. Norton, you have failed me. **bleep** you. Never again.

I am going to ask to have this post moved to the Norton Mobile Security (NMS) forum as that appears to be the software that you are enquiring about.

If you want to know how to make the scream feature work - open NMS; select Anti-Theft; you will probably then see two panels, one being for Web Anti-Theft status the other for SMS Anti-Theft Status; press the menu key and there will be a pop up telling you how to work the Scream, Locate, Lock, Wipe and Unlock features.

If that does not give you what you want please come back and we will try again.

Finding the settings to activate the scream feature was easy, however actually getting the device to emit any "scream" has been a challenge for me. I have sent multiple SMS messages to my phone from another phone only to have them come through and nothing happens. It is merely a text from my friend like any other message and Norton does not activate any scream whatsoever. I am starting to think that the Lookout Mobile Security is a better security application. Any suggestions out there?

That's strange.  Would you mind sharing the format of the SMS that you're sending to activate the scream feature?  I assume it's an SMS and not an MMS that's being sent as well.  Correct?
