Norton mobile security problems

Norton did an update on my android device and advised I needed to update my subscription, which I did. It would not let me use my current phone name as it said it already existed so I let it use the default name.

1. Whenaccount into my norton account via web it still has my old phone name listed and cannot locate my phone saying it is offline and last known location was three days ago

2. When I go into web anti theft on my phone it says ...norton security license expired..if I touch that it takes me to my norton mobile security app which says ...subscription 58 days left.

I am confused

I have tried to add My current product key as a new license but it does not recognize it.

1. how do I either change the name of my device on the phone to the old name or how do I change my device on the web to bathe new phone name.

2. I need to be able to now find my phone on the web....how

If you open the Norton Mobile Security app on your device

and tap Menu > About what version number do you see ?

 

Did you actually purchase a new Subscription for NMS ?

if so was it from the Google Play Store or from the Norton

Online Store or a retail pack.?

 

And also have you ever used Norton Management before ?

 

This is used to manage products installed on devices and

allows you to remove products from the devices.

 

So if you have old device names that are registered you can

remove them and free up the name you like to use and also

available installs for your products and devices.

 

More about Norton Management here  where you can login with

your Norton Account details.

 

With more info we should be able to help you.

Thank you..I used your link into norton management and Was able to use the registration process now which worked, it didn't work befo.. Everything clicked into place now.....if this management website was easier to find I may have been able to fix it sooner. I have been on Symantec website, nortonantitheft website and now norton management! I searched through site maps for each and tried registration ptrocess from other site and it did not work....One website adress with simple easy to find links would make it easier.

Hi again

 

This following info should help in the future with Nortons Websites.

 

To make it a bit easier you can search with Google for - Norton Account

or type into the address bar this URL - http://www.mynortonaccount.com

 

Then at the top right corner of the page you will see Norton Apps and if you

move your mouse pointer over that you will get a drop down menu of all of the

Norton Apps or websites. :-)
