Hi all,
quick question, why does Norton Mobile security not show up on my profile under prodects but does under the history tab?
Also, on Norton 360 there is a small icon of a mobile phone, when I click it, it suggests I buy Norton Mobile security, I already have this product??
cheers

Unfortunately the licesning component in NMS is not the same as the other products currently. That's why you won't see NMS listed in your Norton Account. The team is working on addressing this in a future release.

Quick reply thanks, do you know if the Anti Theft add on will work in Australia?

If you saw it available, it'll work. I know that the NAT plugin is set for Australia so the answer is yes.

Thanks Erik,
I thought that would be the case but I've had phone calls from Norton Support (somewhere in India I thnk) because I can't get it to work on my device here. They gave up and told me it must not be supported in Australia only the US at the moment. I've posted in the other forum I'll wait to see what they say up there.
cheers

Nope was told to refer to this thread.
I have a product key, but the website won't accept it. I was provided another product key by Norton Support, wouldn't accept that either, was called by Norton Support and told that NAT will not work in Australia.
Samsung Galaxy S2 4G I'll wait and try again later see what happens

Hi evo.
I'm fairly sure that one of the Mobile Master uses the NAT plugin in Australia though I think he has reported that location accuracy was not good. Hopefully he will be online in the next couple of days and may be able to give you some feedback.

Hi evo
if you have the full paid version of Norton Mobile Security on your device just open
the Google Play app on your device and search for Norton and you will find NAT and
download and install it.
Or you could open NMS and download from within the NMS app it's self by selecting
Set up Anti-Theft then Download Add-on. Then folow the steps and instructions.
Did you purchase NAT from the Norton Online Store? Or did you just purchase NMS
only.? If it was NMS only the product key you have is just for NMS product only.
And there may have been some cunfusion with the Norton Staff as NAT is available in
Australia via Google Play store as i do use it here myself.![]()
Hope that helps.
Cheers.![]()
Edit- (Feedback)The issues i have with NAT is mainly when used with my PC's as the
location accuracy is not too great, it is much better with mobile use and with features
like Remote Lock, Locate and Sneak Peek from the NAT website control panel it is a
pretty good app which i highly recomend for Android Tablets and Phones.

Yes I have the FULL paid version on my device. I got NAT by doing exactly what you said. It will however not show up in my devices nor can I use it to find my device etc.
If I go to My account, it asks to either pay for the app or submit a product number.
I'm not going ot pay for the app as I thought it was part of NMS and it will not accept the product number
Hope that clears things up ![]()
I'm not really stressed about it, Samsung offers the same system as part of their product for the phone, its just that I can't seem to get it working ![]()

Same case happend with me also, plus my mobile gets slower because of the Norton. It slow down other applications too like games and pdf creator and many more.
