Sorry to hear you are having problems, but it sounds as if it may be different from the problems reported above in this thread.

To help us try and sort things out for you can you tell us what version of Android Market you have - Open Android Market - Menu - Settings and scroll down to "Build version".  Can you also tell us what happened to cause it to revert back to Lite.

In theory the Market should still recognise your earlier purchase and so if you have the Lite app loaded it should upgrade.  As it is not you might like to try uninstalling the app, turning your phone off and then on again, and then reinstall the app.  There are known problems with the Android Market at the moment which may be behind it not upgrading automatically but it might be worth a try.

Whether you try that or not do come back and let us know what is happening as we want to help if we can and if there is a simple solution others would like to know.

I have version 3.4.4 of android market.
As I mentioned, the full version of Norton was working and now is no longer activated.

Thanks for the response.  If it just stopped working without any changes other than the Market moving to 3.4.4 then it looks as if it is the problem with the Market.  

Don't know if you have tried the uninstall/reinstall option but otherwise I think all you can do is wait for Google to fix the market.

Unless anyone else has any bright ideas.

Same here Samsung Galaxy Note with Android Market 3.4.4. Not able to upgrade with exactly the same problem described in the original post

Oh… now this problem is fixed, It can upgrade right now. But… But… 29.99$!! Look expensive than my Norton360 a little bit or I'm choose to use lite version? (>_<)

trust me lite version is ok for beginners but if you need remote wipe feature go for licensed version

P.S : Enjoying full licensed version :)

The $29.99 is not to bad for value with the features you are given plus the fact that for

free you also get the Norton Anti-theft Plug In for the paid subscription of

Norton Mobile Security. NAT would normally cost $39.99 for a 1 year subscription for

3 devices. And the added features of NAT plug In are a big Bonus with the purchase

of the Full version of NMS.

I have just installed Norton Mobile Security Lite (2.5..0.390)  on my new Samsung Galaxy Nexus running  Android 4.0.1.

When trying to upgrade from the Lite version to the full version using the preinstalled Android Market 3.4.4 I get the message "You must upgrade your version of Android Market to 5.0.12 (or higher)".

I have tried some of the suggestions in this  thread to uninstall ... etc. but the 3.4.4 version of the AM remains on my phone.. 

Does anyone know the status of this problem and if we just have to wait? Is it a Google or Norton problem?

Anyway, if AM 5.0.12 is available, why don't it update on my Android 4.0.1 phone?  I have enabled automatic update of apps, and also left AM active for more than 5-10 minutes as suggested to see if it updated!!
