ip address?

Is there a Norton product that enables the user to "hide" ip address from someone attempting to locate where the user is?

Re: ip address?

Hi jleliekelly.

Welcome to the Community.

The simple answer to your question is that I am not aware of one.

However if you can explain a little more fully what you are looking for and why it might be useful you may get a more positive answer from someone else, or Norton may even be tempted to produce one.  This forum is intended solely for the discussion of the Norton Mobile Security product is probably not the best place to put it.  You might instead like to try in the "Other products" or "Products suggestions" forums.  I would suggest moving this thread but as I am not quite sure exactly what you are trying to achieve I am not sure where best to suggest.

I hope that is of some use.

No rules broken jleliekelly.  Just trying to point you in the direction that will help you best.

And look - you are  no longer a newbie - already recognised as a "visitor" - I'm sure there are even higher heights to achieve.  ;-)

All the best.

Re: ip address?

Lol, thanks, we are fostering to adopt parents who are in contact with bio parents via email and nervous that they would attempt to try to find location via ip address. So no big secret mission just attempting to protect our kiddos. Thank you feel better I'm not already a rebel. :)

Re: ip address?

Whatever happens with the software - good luck with the fostering.
