ok, no, i am not locking it by nms, i cant seem to do that either, also, the message my buddy is sending is a simple phrase, and im actually the one sending it, from my wifes phone. but it remains locked when the txt comes in. i must wait 10 min for the phone lock to kick in as i havent really discovered how to manually lock it yet, just got it yesterday. i havent paid for the full version yet, and am reluctant to until i get at least one feature to work right lol. thanks erik

Hi sketch6995,
Its the weekend and Erik maybe doing something sensible so I will try and chip in to try and help.
As I understand it you are having trouble remotely locking and unlocking your phone using NMS.
First the lock: You refer to a "simple phrase" - there is only one and that is
lock password
Where "password" is the password you set when you first activated the Anti-Theft option. So the SMS message that you send to your phone, from your wife's, or any other, should just be the word "lock" a single space and then the password that gets you in to the Anti-Theft option. There should be no capital in "lock" and the capitalisation of the password should be exactly as used on your phone.
Next the remote unlock: You need to have set your buddy's mobile phone (in your case your wife's) as a "buddy" under the Anti-Theft option. Then when your phone is locked by NMS (through having sent the "lock" command, removing and reinserting the SIM card or however) you send the following message from the buddy mobile to your locked phone -
unlock 987654321
Where in this case the number "987654321" is replaced by the mobile number of your buddy (wife) but without any gaps, preceding zeros, international dialing codes or any non numeric characters. So that is just the word "unlock" with no capital letters, a single space and then the buddy's mobile number.
Does that help.
