Hi again

Have you tried to shutdown the Ace and remove the battery and remove

and re-install the sim card and restart the device and have your buddies

re-send the remote sms command   unlock   to the locked device.?

Worth a try.

Otherwise do you have a spare sim to insert and have your buddies send

the remote sms command to the  number of the spare  sim installed in the

Galaxy Ace.

the first one i tried thrice, it still says SIM IS MISSING. The second one, not yet, ll try it though in sometime. Thanks for the suggestion :)

I have tried with two other sims as well. It still isnt working. It just isnt getting unlocked. I need some data on phone and cant go for the factory settings option. I need some help. the unlock message just comes, theres no effect at all.

FOUND a way out.! keep pressing the central button, the task manager will appear. though only for a second the applications running will appear, be quick and press end norton software. (have to be really quick) then uninstalled the same. unlocked and dint loose any phone data :)
