Erik, just to update, upgrading to Version 1.0.2.88 had no effect on this "Menu > About" issue; it still does not work.  Thank you again, and Happy Holidays.

It took a while; but version 1.0.2.91, which I downloaded a couple days ago through the Android Market, solved the "About" issue.
