Re: Battery Capacity?

OK, so the team needs to check on something. Could you try the following:
Uninstall NMU
Switch battery to one of the non 1500 mAH batteries (either the 1650 or 1800 will work)
Reboot at least once
Reinstall NMU
Check to see what NMU is showing for the battery now.

This will help confirm or dissprove the teams suspicions.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Ok. This is essentially what I have done, since the 1800mAh battery is the only one I am using regularly, but I'll try again and report back.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Nothing changed. Its still greyed out, and still says 1500mAh.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Thanks for confirming Joe. It looks like the value we're reading off of is set by the manufacturer. We'll do some investigation to see what can be done about this. Than you for your cooperation.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Hi all

Thanks for bringing this up... Sure this is being worked on but thought id post that i have the same issue on my system. I also did initially disable low battery warning and then restored it to warn at 30% but wasn't aware if this was what caused the issue. NMU is showing 1650mAh greyed out and cannot be adjusted.

System details as follows:

Samsung Galaxy Note N7000
Stock Android 2.3.6 / Stock UK KKA kernel
NMU 1.0.2.81 full license
Stock Samsung 2500mAh battery
Trojan Terminator

Re: Battery Capacity?

You note you have a stock 2500 mAh battery.  Was that the one that came with the device or was it added after?

Re: Battery Capacity?

Hi Erik

The battery is the one that came packaged with the device.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Was this from a carrier or is it an unlocked device?
