Battery Capacity?

I can't seem to figure out how to match battery capacity with what is actually installed in my phone. I have three batteries, a 1500mAh, 1650mAh, and 1800mAh, but no matter which one is installed, your app reads 1500mAh, and there's no way to change it manually, or have it recheck for its self. How do we manage this?screenshot-1318888747817.png

Re: Battery Capacity?

I'm assuming you're shutting down the device in between swapping out the batteries.  Is that correct?

What version of Android do you have?  What device model do you have (from Settings > About Phone)?

Re: Battery Capacity?

Yes, I allow the phone to properly shut down before removing the battery.

Model is Samsung Vibrant SGH-T959, running Gingerbread 2.3.5.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Thanks Joe.  I'll pass this along to the team to investigate.  Not sure why it isn't correctly detecting the Battery Capacity.

Hi MadJoe,

I think you can set the battery capacity manually.  If I click on the "Battery Capacity (mAh)" line then up another screen which if I click it, I can amend to any figure I choose.

Does that help?  Or have I missed something?

Re: Battery Capacity?

This seems to be a read issue within a component of NMU.  We're currently looking into it.

Re: Battery Capacity?

I've seen this on one of my Motorola systems too, but I can't remember whether it was my smartphone or tablet (which is why I hadn't chimed in earlier). But if you've located the issue, I figure I should mention that it's not confined to a particular hardware configuration.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Andmike, I have tried that, but my mAh is greyed out and doesn't even highlight when I click it, never mind less to another window to enter it manually. Thank you for the suggestion, though.

Erik, thanks for the update. I have been trying other things to see if I can her it to work, I could have sworn the mAh was not greyed out until I initially disabled the batty warning, them it greyed out and had never come back. I have even tried uninstalling and redownloading it, but no luck.

Re: Battery Capacity?

Hi, MadJoe,

I assume you've already tried (temporarily) re-enabling the battery warning...?

Re: Battery Capacity?

Multiple times. I've even deleted the battery log data to see if that fixes it. No luck.
