Sorry to hear you are having problems. I am not aware of this problem coming up before with a Galaxy Tab 10.1. However as many people seem to primarily use WiFi, which may or may not be free, for their data, I suspect many will have low mobile data counts. Can you tell us what you think the reading should have been and why?
Do you think you are getting reasonable readings on your WiFi data?

A really important data point will be the connection type as well. Is this only 3G? Does it include 4G LTE? Who is your carrier?

Could you do the following for me:
Download and install CatLog
Open CatLog and start recording (make sure it's set to verbose)
Use some data to recreate the issue
Open CatLog and stop recording
Send the log as an attachment to yourself
Record the amount your carrier says you used
Send me a private message with the size of the log
I'll send you my email address with what I need and we will look into what's going on. Thank you for your time.
