I installed NMU on my Samsung Gio 2 days ago. I have used both WiFi and mobile data to test. I don't get and readings showing for WiFi and in that time period I have 1 reading for mobile data that says I have used 237K when I have actualy used 801K.

Samsung model: GT-S5660M, Android version 2.3.4, NMU version 1.0.0.98

Welcome to the Community.

There is a known issue with data readings at the moment.  You may like to look at the thread "NMU has stopped counting data traffic!" in which you will find a post by Erik Carlstrom a Norton Staff member advising us that a fix will be issued in the next update.  You may like to wait for that and then report back whether it has fixed your problem.  Hopefully it will but I'm sure Norton will be interested if it does not.

The Wifi counter is definitely a known issue that we'll be releasing a fix for soon.  The other issue may be new or it may be just a misunderstanding.  Can you confirm that your mobile data usage is incorrect?  What is your carrier?  Are you comparing the data usage only since you installed NMU or are you comparing it to your plans usage for the current billing period?  Your device will track data usage without any date reference.  So, when NMU is installed it will track mobile data usage from the moment it's installed.  Does this help clarify things or is something else occuring?

The mobile data usage I reported was from my carrier who is Virgin mobile in Canada. I compared the usage from the point at which I installed NMU. There is definatley a counting issue on the mobile side as well. Thanks for trying to work this stuff out. The rest of NMU works great. I would like to have just one product to monitor all my usages.

I just wanted to make sure you were comparing from the time you installed NMU.  Now that we know that we can take the next step.  What we would like you to do is download Catlog, pick a time to start verbose logging where you will be able to easily compare between what NMU lists for usage and what your carrier will display.  24 hours would probably be a good time period, but for this longer may be better.  Once you have that, send me a private message with how big the log file is and we'll figure out a way for you to send that to me.

Sorry guys it still doesn't record the mobile or wi-fi data. I enabled mobile data 2 times, ran a couple apps but nothing is being reported. If I go into Device and Network it shows data usage but doesn't show this on the usage screen. I have another app installed that records data usage. Any chance this is interferring with NMU, should I remove it?
