Hi hardingn88
Welcome to the Norton Community Forum :-)
With the CPU usage going up while touching and using the touch screen this from what
i find is fairly normal with most devices as i have the Samasung Galaxy S 2 with 1.2 GHz
dual core processor and 1 Gb of ram, (837 available) playing around with NMU UI i find
will sometimes bump the CPU up to 45 % , this usage can also be found by just scrolling
up and down on the NMU Device UI screen. And in a idle state the SGS2 sits on between
11 and 16%.
So the usgae you see with your device i would say is normal compared to what i see on
the SGS2.
As for the NMU Installer it will scan the device for any apk files that can be found on
the device weather they are in the internal memory or on the Micro SD Card and list the
search results. You can then share the apk files via email or other methods or you can
delete the apk files or select and install them using the Android applications installer.
I hope that info helps.
Cheers. ![]()
