If you have a valid license of Norton Mobile Security 2.5, you are entitled for a free Norton Anti-Theft license. You can download and install the Anti-Theft plug-in from Android Market. With the Anti-Theft plug-in installed, you can use the Web Anti-Theft features of Norton Mobile Security from any computer with Internet access. Login to the Norton Anti-Theft portal with your Norton Account credentials to use these features.
Following are the Web Anti-Theft features available in Norton Mobile Security 2.5:
- Find Device: Tracks and maps the location of your device when anyone uses it to go online so you will know if it is lost or stolen.
- Lock Device: Securely locks your device to prevent strangers from using it or seeing your personal information. You can set up an unlock code with a customizable message on the locked screen.
- Sneak Peek: Snaps photos of anyone or anything in front of your device then saves the images to the Norton Anti-Theft Web site to help you get back your device.
- Report Lost: You can choose Report Lost option in case of loss or theft. Norton Anti-theft automatically locks the device, tracks its location, and captures images more frequently.
