Is it necessary to purge/remove Log entries?

NOBU Support -- Is it necessary to purge (remove) old log entries?  I have been using the NOBU (Norton Online BackUp) since April and it works well.  In the Log there are twelve (12) backup events from 4/11/2012 to 7/4/2012.  Each of the backups ranges from 7.15GB (4/11) to 7.50GB (7/4), with a total space usage of 14.42GB of the available 27.0GB.  Is there a process available to manage the space usage (14.42GB)?  Is there a process available to manage the logs?

Re: Is it necessary to purge/remove Log entries?

Hello AZParadise,

No, there is no need to purge old log entries. It doesn't impact your space usage in any way. The older entries also may be useful down the road in diagnosing any issues if anything surfaces.

You can manage your used space via the purge feature. You can find details in the help file available on any Norton Online Backup page as well as a wealth of other details. The section on removing files is found here.
