I have been trying to RESTORE my 8/10/12 BU for 2 weeks. The BU size is about 17GB. It took 70 hours to complete "Server Preparing Restore" and another 24 hours to attempt a RESTORE. The RESTORE was roughly 75% done and I left for a few hours and when I returned it had stopped. I have no idea why and there was no error message. There was a 20GB Restore.RTN file on my HD but I couldn't open it. I have also tried just a 2GB restore. That ran for 24 hours and stopped with no error message. The 2GB restore is running again, but the green wave in the window under 'Server Preparing Restore" has turned to yellow squares? I have seen elsewhere in this forum that a 2GB restore should only take 5 to 10 minutes. I have chatted with at least 5 techs and 2 case managers. All have taken control of my computer but can't resolve the issue or explain what is happening (the process). My computer has 2GB of RAM and runs at 2.5GHz.
