Hi Everyone
I am new to this product (still on trial), so maybe I just don't underatnd how it does its calculations. Bear with me.
I have my backup scheduled for daily overnight (3am) and this morning when I logged in to the PC I got the pop up message telling me that my backup had failed beacuse the total size of the files selected for backup is larger than the available storage in my account.
I log in to my account and see that I am using 979Mb of an available 5Gb.
I use the "Calculate Storage" feature and get confirmation that I have enough space. 11 files total size 969Mb.
I return to my desktop and right click Norton Backup and choose "BackUp Now". The backup completes successfully. I did not remove any folders or files from the schedule.
What am I missing here?
Thanks!
Mike

Hi Mike,
As you have said you have installed the trail version of the N360 in your computer and i am wondering you won't get 5GB online storage when you have trail version installed in your computer.
And is your computer turned on and connected to internet when it is scheduled at 3am?
Have you scheduled the online back or local back of your data?
BTW you will get only 1GB of FREE Space online when you use the Trail version.
Thank you and kindly reply me if you still need any help.
