I am trying to purge files in Norton Online Backup and it seems to have got stuck - three hours for two files seems excessive to say the least. How can I get out of this loop?

If you have no option to cancel it send me a private message containing your Norton email address and a link to this forum post as a point of reference. I'll then have the purge job cancelled for you.

Purge Files feature has been running for 20 hours and I'm unable to stop it. How do I contact you directly?
Please stop the purge process for me.
Seems that there should be a button on the page to "cancel" as there are many problems with the Purge feature!

I received your message and have had the active purge cancelled. Keep in mind though that purges are not instant. They work like restore where it has to go and remove all past instances of the files you opt to purge. There is a cancel option towards the beginning but once it actively starts removing the files that option becomes unavailable.
