When you view the log there should be a hyperlink which you can click on to get further details on the error. Is this not showing up for you?

When I click the "view log" it takes me to the screen which says "Files that could not be backed up" but it is blank no file names ("that are not backed up") are listed.

Please visit http://www.norton.com/chat and have them perform a remote desktop session with you. Tell them specifically you want to view the advanced SLG log files. They should be able to show you in a matter of moments where they are located.
