I have a new computer and am trying to move files from my old computer. I sucessfully completed a backup from the old computer to norton secure online storage but when I try to restore the files I get a screen that says receiving files... Progress 0.0% and never changes. Eventually I get an error '8702,536872940'. The begin support session offers no help
I tried restoring a single file and after 5 minutes got the same error.
Any suggestions?

The error you received is due to multiple restore requests without letting the previous job complete on the server.
Please keep in mind if you must cancel a restore but you do need the data this may impair your ability to start another restore immediately. Allow sufficient time for the previous restore job to clear before attempting to start another.
Depending on how large your restore request is (GB) will depend on how long your restore will take, as well as how much you have backed up on the server. When we backup the files they are sent up in an encrypted and puzzle type format, so the server will have to go through multiple sections to piece together the file(s).
Network traffic, connection speed, and the traffic on our server can all affect your restore time. In general, it takes at least as long to restore as it did to initially backup. Often, it takes longer. With a 56 K modem the average restore time is 10MB per hour. DSL and Cable can move faster.

I attempted to restore three backups from 1/11/2012 to a new computer. I clicked on all three and then restore. I have not seen a download window or other indication of progress. Now the three data sets are not visible. How do I find my files?
The Norton online help told me they do not back online only on my computer. Huh?
