Hi guys, i hope you can help me with this problem. About 1 month ago i started noticing some weird things that never happened before. First, i can log in to my computer normally but after some time (an hour or longer) suddenly my internet connection dies, i can't open the task manager by alt, ctrl, del...If i try to shut down, hibernate or reboot it does nothing, the sand clock starts loading and then nothing happens and also no application or program opens. If i shut down pressing the shut down button and boot the computer again then everything starts working normal.
One more thing is that certain sites don't open like www.microsoft.com, i've tried it on Chrome, Firefox and IE6 and none of them work. Then if i boot up on safe mode there are no problems and everything works fine.
Also, i've noticed that i can't change to "show hidden files and folders" on the folder options.
I really don't know what to do! i've scanned my computer and there was no virus or spyware so i was hoping you could give me some clues here...
Thanks!

Hi wiznia
what product are you using? NIS2009/NAV2009 or earlier products and what OS xp or vista plus any service packs 1,2,3etc.I think you may have posted in the wrong forum.
Do you have Norton security inspector installed?
XP home,SP3
NIS2010
