Norton Security Inspector

Can't install Security Inspector from download. Get message indicating Norton Internet Security 2009 must already be installed. Norton Internet Security 2009 is already installed. How can I get Security Inspector to install?

Have you seen this message from a Symantec Staffer in which he says the NSI Installer is not recognizing NIS2009 16.1.0.33 (NOTE His .133 must be a typo) and they need to get a new version available.

I don't know if this is true or whether it is his deduction from the previous messages.

My problem (posted 11-13) is the same as Siliconman01's problem (posted on 11-15). I was trying to install against NIS 16.1.0.33.

We just posted a new build of Security Inspector that recognizes both NIS 16.1 and NIS 16.0.  Build 24 of Security Inspector should be live now and the problem should be resolved.

Yeah, I have the same problem here. And also, Norton's SafeWeb has the same installation problem.

I was trying to download it from the web you said, but I get an error message like "Page load error"

Are there any alternative download site?
