Re: NTS for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Hi Bowwie.

This is going to be a bit of a non answer and you may want to wait for someone with more hands on experience of Norton Tablet Security (NTS), which I do not have as I do not have a tablet.

But to give you some initial feedback - I don't see why it should not.

As I understand it NTS was developed from Norton Mobile Security (NMS) when it was realised that it would be better to have a product that could better cope with the larger screens of tablets.  At the same time they took out the features of NMS that relied upon SMS messages.  So if that is the case I see no reason why it should care about 4G or Wi-Fi so long as you can get an internet connection.

But then others may know differently in which case I will continue my education.  ;-)

All the best.

Re: NTS for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Hi Andmike

A friend ( 54 years old ) of mine just started using a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and was asking me about security for it, as I have never used a tablet yet, I thought Norton would be a good choice for his safety online.

NOTE: This is my friends first so called computer, and he is VERY , VERY , Green with the tech.

He ask`s the darnest question`s , Morning , Noon , and past midnight :)

But me being me , I try to answer his sometimes crazy questions , to the best of my limited knowledge.

Truth be it, I really don`t care for the cloud computing segment, I`d rather have my personal/business, computing done on my desktop.

Computing Data Bases seem very unsecure to me, but that`s me :)

Did some searching on the net about this question, but didn`t find much at all.

Yes, I will wait till one of the pros reads this post.

Thanks you for your input :)
