I bought Norton 360 at walmart. The box said it would work with android tablet pc. I tried downloading norton 360 mobile version several times through my norton account but it kept displaying some bar code message and kept trying to get me to scan the bar code thing with my smart phone but I dont have a smart phone. I have a tablet pc. I tried entering the url thing several times but that would not work either. I also tried downloading norton mobile from androids play store but it kept telling me i had to pay more money just to get the full version but I already paid for that at walmart. The norton mobile version for android wont seem to let me enter the product key because it does not take me to a product key page at all. How can I fix this issue?

Was it Norton 360 Everywhere?
Does your android tablet have OS 2.2 or above?
See the specifications tab on this page http://us.norton.com/norton-360-everywhere/

I've asked this thread be moved to the Norton Tablet Security board.
More people with experience in what you need will be there to help.

Welcome to the Community.
Sorry to hear the problems you are having. So that we can try to help could you tell us the make and model of your tablet and what other machines you plan to use Norton 360 on?
I look forward to getting your reply and hope that we can help.

You could try typing this URL into your tablets internet browser-
This is the direct link to the Norton servers for the apk download
for NMS Android application for Norton 360 Everywhere.
Download it then you will have to install and activate with the product
key that came with the box.
Then register the product and device with your Norton Account details
if you have one. Or you will have to create a Norton Account..
Let us know how you go.

If that does not work you might like to remove one of the Ws from the beginning of the link.
The World Wide Web is not Wide enough for smithy! ;-)

Hershey74 - I would go to the Android market and load a barcode scanner to your tablet. There are plenty to choose from. Then you will have something to use when you are presented with that barcode.

My appologies for the typo in my post and the link.
Thanks for picking up on that Andmike.
My world wide web certainly is bigger than usual in that post.
The link should be as follows.
You could also use the link if you view the Norton Community Forum with your tablet.
And shipmack has a good point if your tablet has a camera you could download
and install a barcode scanner from the Google Play Store. Norton has a great app
being Norton Snap QR Code Reader and the link is here .Or you can just search
the Google Play Sore for Norton or Snap. :-)
Keep us posted on how you go.

I downloaded and ran that Norton Snap Code thing twice and it would not work. I also tried downloading Norton Mobile Security with that link someone posted. I was able to download it and install it on my tablet pc but when I entered the product key it said the activation code was invalid. I know I typed out that product key correctly because I checked it over 3 times before I clicked the Submit button. I have been able to successfully install Norton 360 on 2 of my desktop pcs but it won't work at all with my tablet pc but the system requirements on the Norton box says that Norton 360 is supposed to work with my tablet pc. I have a Le Pan brand tablet pc. Model TC970 (Wi-Fi). With Android 2.2. Anyone got any other solutions?
