Why are most Norton apps for smartphones and tablets not available for apple products?

Well it certainly can't be because there is no market!  

My understanding is that Apple hold the secrets of their operating systems very tightly and that this makes it difficult for developers such as Norton/Symantec to produce Apple based products.  That said, I am sure that Norton would like to move into that market.  If you continue to monitor these forums you will hear as soon as any new product does appear.

I leave it to Norton staff to comment on the official line if they wish to.
