Will NTS run on a Toshiba Thrive running ISC?

I am currently running Norton Mobile Security Lite which I downloaded from the Google Play Store.  I do not see Tablet Security in the Google PlayStore.  I do see within Mobile Security Lite that I can Upgrade the app, but will this upgrade the app to Tablet Security or only to the full version of Norton Mobile Security?

If the Upgrade does not install Tablet Security, then I assume I need to download Tablet Security from the Norton website. I assume I should first uninstall Mobile Security before downloading and installing Tablet Security.

One last question, I see you can buy Tablet Security for 20% less at www.symantec-norton.com.  The site says it is a authorized seller of Norton products.  Do you know if this is true?

Welcome to the Community.

I believe that you are correct in assuming that you would be better off running Norton Tablet Security (NTS) on the Thrive, than Norton Mobile Security (NMS) which is more focused on mobile phones.  I also believe that the best way to get NTS would be to download it from Norton/Symantec.  Norton is part of the Symantec Corporation and I believe that the site [http://www.symantec-norton.com/] is a valid Norton/Symantec site (it certainly comes up clean when checked out by Norton Safe Web!

If you did upgrade NMS Lite then you would get the phone version of NMS as you suspected.

You would probably be wise to uninstall NMS before installing NTS though I have not heard of any clashes.

I note that the Thrive is supposed to come with Kaspersky Tablet Security so it might make sense to uninstall or disable that as well.  If you can.

Thank you for the quick reply.  I will post if I have any issues when I install NTS.

I previously disabled K Tablet Security as I did not want to have any potential conflicts.  I figured just like on a PC, you really can't run to Security Programs without conflicts.
