Since up-grading to 360 v 6.2.0.9 I have Norton Toolbar and Norton Vulnerability protection asking for permission to run each time I launch Firefox. This requires a re-boot of Firefox after each of these two separate requests and is frustrating. I have run Live Update several times and have up-graded to Firefox 12 - both supposed solutions found elsewhere on the forums. These add-ons are 'enabled' in Firfox but clearly each time Firefox launches they are having to be re-enabled for some reason.
None of the solutions work - I have also lost all functionality with ID Protection and Log-ins which just do not work at all and log-in opportunities on web pages do not seem to be recognised at all.
It is clear Norton 360 v6.2.0.9 is not right yet - How do I roll back to previuous version (v.5) of Norton 360?

Hi cprice2437,
Rolling back to N 360 v 5 will cause you to lose all your ID Safe log-ins and passwords. The data can be moved up from the v5 .npm format to the .csv/.dat format of V 6 - however it is not backwards compatable. Thus the ID Safe data in your V 6 can not be restored back into the V 5 version.
However if you still have a copy of the .npm backup still on your system you should be able to restore that backup to V 5 once V 5 is reinstalled.
The download for the V 5 can be found here:
(Plese match the correct version - Standard or Premier)
N360 V5 Standard- www.norton.com/n360s_5
N360 V5 Premier - www.norton.com/n360p_5

True David, but did you ever consider this post may be more about N 360, Norton Vulnerability protection, Firefox and reinstalling V5 than it is about the Norton Tool Bar or ID Safe? In which case it may be on the correct board afterall.

Hi cprice2437,
Try this fix for corrupt extension configuration files. Anytime new extensions get weird, this is a good thing to try:
