I’m using Firefox 14.0.1 and Norton 360 6.3.0.14
This all started with the update to N360 6.3.0.14.
(Example)
I log into us.norton.com. Highlight Community. Click Norton Forums.
Click Norton Tool/Norton Identity Safe. I get the main menu at the top
with nothing below. In the lower left hand corner it says
Readplusone.google.com and stays there web page doesn’t finish loading.
Disable Norton Tool Bar and web page finishes loading.
Leaving the Tool Bar enabled If I click on the reload tab it will also let the
Web page finish loading.

Hi Harley55,
I am experiencing the same phenomenon, and I also traced the problem to the Google+1 script. If you block that script the g+1 button goes away and so does the problem. I don't think it had anything to do with the Norton update because I noticed the issue yesterday prior to updating NIS 2012. I found a fix using NoScript's ABE module to block the plusone.google.com JavaScript.
I don't think it is a toolbar issue either, since doing anything to stop the page from trying to load seems to fix the immediate problem with a page. Have you found that leaving the toolbar disabled prevents the problem from occurring in the first place? It is most likely a problem with the script itself - the Google+1 button has been known to cause slowdowns and other problems on many sites.

I can't say the tool bar is at fault because it hasn't worked since FF 14.0. But this problem never showed up in the past until the lastest update. Yes disabling the tool bar fixes the problem. Leaving the tool bar enabled I'm now seeing it stop at now-static.norton.com.

Hi SendOfJive,
If this helps, I am using Adblock Plus with Fanboy's Annoyance List enabled and it blocks the Google +1 script.
Cheers,
Dave.

Same problem here after the update to NIS 19.8.0.14 using FF 14.0.1 and IE 9. And also some web pages like, for example, the log in to Alice.it Mail crashes FF and IE. If I disable the Norton toolbar and the Norton vulnerability protecdtion all works fine.

Hi all :-)
Same issue here with N360 6.3.0.14 on 2 PC's with Widows 7 and on another
PC with Windows XP running NIS2012 19.8.0.14 all running FF 14.0.1.
Unable to login to Norton Community sometimes ( alot of the time) and pages
will not load in the forums.![]()
If i disable both Norton Extensions i have no issues with both NIS2012 and
N360 in FF and the Norton Community Forums. :-)
Tried disabling one at a time and it makes no change to the issue but if both
are disabled issue is fixed. Strange.
and the pages load ok.
Thanks Krusty13 have not used Adblock Plus for a while but seems to have
fixed it using the Extension.![]()
Hopefully Symantec Norton can look into this conflict between Google +1 and
the Norton Community Forum with FF.
No issues with Google Chrome all seems fine. ![]()
Cheers.

Has anyone heard when Noton is going to fix these problems.

I've already posted a pic of IE9 and FF 14.0.1 crash with Norton Toolbar enabled after the NIS update to version 19.8.0.14 . Try this web site with Norton Toolbar disabled (all works fine) and with Norton Toolbar enabled (IE9 and FF14.0.1 crash):

That one is a pic of the other issue: some web pages don't finish loading. The example is exactly this forum page (with Norton Toolbar disabled all works fine...):
