Can those of you having problems try copying/pasting the link in instead of clicking on it? Just to see if there is any difference in your results.
Best wishes.

Pasting the link text into the address bar yields the same results in all three browsers...
I take it, that although you're not logged in to the ID site, you have setup an account/vault at the Identity Safe Site?
I have not done this. And I don't wish to if it entails sending my local vault into the Matrix. ![]()

Hi Loopie and anyone else experiencing problems,
Though I'm sure she is monitoring this thread since she would likely get email when someone responds, I've sent Prasanna a separate message and requested she provide some input on how to troubleshoot this further. I can't help wondering if it might be a "regional" issue and by that I mean perhaps some geographical locations are having problems and not others. Perhaps because of some server issues. Most likely different areas have different servers serving the request.
Best wishes.

Hi Allen,
You may be right about the geographical locations as I get the same page as you when I click the link. I am in Australia.
Cheers,

Hi avjohnnie,
I thought about this but I would be really shocked if this would cause the issue. In reality it is just a link and I did log OUT of my online ID Safe to make sure that was not having an affect.
I could possibly see online ID Save having an affect but only if you are actually logged in and I've tested for that possiblity.
If it is somehow interfering even when logged out it will be one for the books!
A link really is just a link...
I'll give it some more thought as to other things to try but I'm still kind of leaning toward a possible regional server issue.
Hopefully Prasanna will pick up on this and respond soon with some other input as well. She is on a different time zone so I think her work day is not too far away. ![]()
Best wishes.

Krusty is in Australia and I'm in the US. Wild guess, but I don't think we're in the same region ![]()

Thanks Allen,
If it's any help in diagnosing the issue, I'm accessing the site from Southern California.
It'll be interesting to hear the finding/explanation...
Kind Regards,
John

LOL! ![]()
Yeah, actually I'm in Northern CA (San Francisco bay area) so I agree it does not really seem to add up does it? ![]()
In the end it is hard to say and I look forward to seeing what the actual root cause is too! ![]()
I am pretty sure this is a relatively recent feature because I've been heavily involved from day ONE in testing the online ID safe when it was introduced a year ago right up until the present.
If this link had been around very long I feel I would have heard about it so I "believe" it is fairly new and I'm sure Prasanna can help shed some light on this.
Best wishes.

Hi Folks,
Just for the fun of it, can you try accessing again from the following link?
https://identitysafe.norton.com/password-generator
It probably wont make any difference but I saw something (or at least think I did) in the raw HTML code that made me wonder...
