Firefox 12 is out, is the toolbar compatible?
Cheers,

I just installed Firefox 12...and Norton Toolbar is not compatible...But Norton Vulnerabiltiy Protection is compatible...It may be a few days before the toolbar update comes down since the "official" release day for FF12 is not until Tuesday April 24th...Norton is not likely to update the toolbar after that date.

Not true Some sites have already got the latest version off firefox and its the latest version. It is the release chanel and not beta and its firefox 12 im running it now. Update checker by file hippo (A legit download company) has already got this version if firefox and is rolling it out. They always get the latest updates first thats why i download from them.

I will not comment about when or where to download FF 12. I can tell you that db13 has the correct idea and I have seen it many tmes in the past.
Please just be patient, give Norton a chance to update the Norton Toolbar for compatability with FF12 (after the ofical release) and then update your Norton product prior to downloading and installing FF12.
Oh BTW, if you become impatient, I guess you could always come back here and we'll try to bail you out of the problems you experience between FF12 and your Norton product because you did not give Norton the oppotunity to test it and update it so the NTB will work with FF12.

Can we expect a compatibility patch release from Symantect by April 24th then?
As advised from most of you, guys, i won't install this new version BEFORE an annoucement by Symantec.
Thanks.
