When the Toolbar is enabled and NIP is active, why do some web sites crash IE9 e.g. this one: www.rwconcepts.co.uk
Ideas any one?
Thanks.

A workaround may be to go into IE / Tools / Manage Add-ons and DISABLE Identity Protection leaving the other two ENABLED.
That works for me although I don't use the toolbar itself, just the Vulnerability Protection.

This is also causes Firefox 14 to crash.
For about two weeks things were going fine with FF 14 and the new Norton Toolbar (2012.7.4.1). Then FF began to have frequent (but not usually immediately reproducible) crashes. I sent lots of crash info to the Mozilla support. I began to selectively disable FF add-ins, and thus determined the Norton Toolbar was causing the problems. Then I noticed that the Toolbar version had regressed to 2012.5.5.11! I assume this is causing the FF crashes. I have tried the repeated NIS updates until no more updates were available, but the Norton Toolbar in Firefox still shows 2012.5.5.11.

Hi,
We have released a patch for this issue. In order to get this patch, Please run live update until it shows "Your Norton product now has latest protection updates" and Restart the computer whenever it requires for a reboot, then check the issue again.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes?
Thanks,
Senthil.
