Identity Safe login for Costco

I am a new forum user.  I have NIS 2012 installed on 3 Windows 7 systems.  I have recently set up Identity Safe on two of them. Most of it is working well.    I have a few problems and will take them one post at a time.  The first one being the login for Costco.  Since on the login page it offers a new registration opposite your login, ID Safe puts the password in the login AND the password location in the new registration box.  This causes it to tell me that I have entered wrong info.  If I remove the password from the New Registration box, it will then work. I have tried auto save and manual setup on the site.  It happens on both of them.   Is there something I am doing wrong to cause this to happen or is it a problem with the Costco login site?

Re: Identity Safe login for Costco

Hi,

Can you please try running complete live update completely from the product untill it says no updates? Also, can you please let us know what browser you are using? Reason am asking is, identity safe works good for costco site and it fills the username and password in the proper fields and there are no issues for this particular site.

Regards,

Prasanna

Re: Identity Safe login for Costco

Just tested my identity safe data on the Costco site. Had not logged in with identity safe active so did the returning customer login and told identity safe to save the data. Logged out and closed the browser. Opened IE9 again and went to the Costco site. Correct boxes were filled in and I was able to login without incident.

hope this helps. NIS2012 is current.

Re: Identity Safe login for Costco

Thx for the suggestion prasanna_a.  I keep my LU constantly up to date...but I just did it manually and there were no more updates.  I am using IE9.

Obviously, I have something checked or unchecked somewhere that is causing me a problem.  I will explore further.

Re: Identity Safe login for Costco

Thank you for your reply Dick.  I am logging in under Registered Shopper.  Hopefully that is what you meant...if not maybe I am logging into the wrong spot.  However, I have tried two places.  One under My Account and the other on the main screen where it says LOGIN. Both of those take me to Registered Shopper.   I am doing something wrong....just have not discovered what it is yet.

Re: Identity Safe login for Costco

I have made one discovery.  I decided to do a new sign in for Costco for my husband on his system.  He did not have one.  So I registered him under Identity Safe and saved it.  It works fine.  If I would erase all my Costco settings and reregister and save, I think it might be ok...however, I cannot do that...I would lose too much info right now about orders.  I will just have to go thru the ordeal of deleting the extra password it puts in on the Register site.  Maybe this info will help someone else.

Hi,

Yes, you were logging in in the same place I tried.

Have you looked at the possibility of deleting your identity safe login for Cosco and creating a new one? This should not effect anything you have stored on the Costco site. Just a thought, have done it a few times when fat fingers couldn't find the correct keys.

Hope this helps
