Norton Toolbar / Norton Identity Safe

my norton use to fill in passwords etc, which i found very useful. Then one day a new version downloaded. Now none of my old passwords are remembered, and it wont ask if i want new ones remembered. Very frustrating. Using 360. 6.2.1.5

Welcome Bruce,

Have you gone into the program and checked the settings?

Open 360 -> click on Identity -> click on Manage Identity Protection

i have done that, and everything is set to on

It almost sounds like something in the update didn't install correctly. Try using the Norton Remove and Reinstall Tool to put a fresh copy on your machine. It's here:

thankyou. All fixed. I dont spoae as a bonus, you could tell me if my old passwords are some where on my PC. Not a big issue if they are not.

You are most welcome. I may be a bit short on bonuses this week. Did you happen to save them at any point and/or if given the option by NRnR to save settings do so? Or did you move them to the online vault?

that bonus was worth ten points.. no i was not given the option of saving them, and I did not have the option to move them to the on line vault. I do now though. thanks for your help.
