Exactly the same problem here after the NIS update to version 19.8.0.14!!! Never any problem with the older NIS versions.
For example, please try this web site using IE9 and FF14.0.1 (Win 64-bit) with Norton Toolbar disabled (all works fine) and with Norton Toolbar enabled (IE9 and FF 14.0.1 crash):

Let me know the result. Thanks in advance.

Thanks wowexec, I hope Symantec Staff can reproduce that issue and fix it as soon as possible.

It happens for http://www.myiris.com/ site also here. It happens when we give some query on the site.
Here is one of the URLs (sample) : http://myiris.com/shares/company/quoteShow.php?ico
Edit : By the way I forgot to mention I have N360 V6.3.0.14.

I've tried that url
http://myiris.com/shares/company/quoteShow.php?ico
and IE9 and FF 14.0.1 crash with NIS 19.8.0.14 too.

Just for added information:
Norton Security Suite is still on version 6.2.1.5, unlike N 360 (6.3.0.14) and NIS 19.8.0.14, the Norton Toolbar in NSS is in fact version 2012.5.4.6 in IE9, while on FF 14.01 it is 2012.7.4.1.
I have tested the URL's listed (I beleive there were a total of three I located in various posts and FF 14.0.1 nor IE9 crashed with the "older" NTB version used in NSS 6.2.1.5.
In NIS 2012 19.8.0.14 for IE the Norton Toolbr is 2012.5.5.11 and in FF 14.01 is also 2012.5.5.11. I am guessing the same versions numbers are used in N 360 6.3.0.14, but since I do onot have that on my system I can not confirm it - although I did ask for confirmation a few days ago and have not received a definite answer yet in this thread:
Two things - first I found it strange that the numbering of the versions went backwards from 2012.7 to 2012.5.
IMHO, it appears that the change in NTB version numbers is casuing this situation and I can not help but wonder if it has something to do with Norton worrying and testing for Windows 8 and IE 10 - rather than paying compelete attention to what those changes have done to the current release browsers & operating systems?
Comments?

It may be that disabling just Norton Identity Protection in Manage Add-ons stops the crashes.

May be, but FF has only NT and VP extensions... so you have to disable NT. And in IE 9 if you disable only IP the Norton Toolbar disappears and not works.
