Norton Toolbar / Norton Identity Safe

With the new NIS 2013, Norton Toolbar is taking a long time, often approaching a full minute, to load in Internet Explorer 9.  This was not the case on NIS 2012.  Can anyone offer any advice on improving this?

You are not alone in this.

Norton icon or norton does not load propely as the computer boots up and we have to wait til it does ... before we can start using IE etc..

I am referring to the toolbar not the system tray icon.

It also happened in Firefox and Chrome.

Same here. I also get a delay in the NIS 2003 toolbar fully loading in IE 9. In my case, when I first go into IE (after Windows 7 starts), "Setup Vault" appears -- when in fact my Vault is already set up. I have to wait about 2 extra minutes for it to "register" that my Vault is closed -- meaning that it already has been set up and can be opened.

A bit annoying, and it would be great if everything is available right away.
