I downloaded the new Identity Safe but it refused to install because I have Norton Security Suite (Comcast) installed on my PC. It refused to install because "a more powerful Identity Safe is included in NSS/360."
The version of NSS that I have currently available from Comcast is 5.2.1.3. That version DOES NOT support the only browser I use, Chrome!
Is there any way to install Identity Safe with NSS? Any idea when NSS will be updated to the 360 6.x code or WILL it be updated?
TIA!

Hi George74,
I understand exactly where you are coming from in regards to not being able to use the new stand alone Identity Safe as you have NSS installed.
In regards to being able to find a way to load the new ID Safe program alongside NSS, perhaps you could pop the question on Other Products Board as suggested here they are seeking feedback.
NSS will be upgraded to version 6 and I am also waiting patiently and continue to slip the lack of it into conversations with Norton staff. The bottom line is when it is ready, it will be placed on the servers, until such tme - please be patient.
One thing I always like to mention is that by the time it is available all of the bugs are worked out of it. Perhaps you noticed the last update that was released and the numerous things it fixed. Since we don't have V 6, we didn't see those situations.

Thanks for your reply Yank!
lol, I posted this thread in the Other Product section but it was moved here. ;)
I've been waiting patiently since February for NSS v6....10ish weeks...
BTW, I'm not complaining about a decent product I'll essentially get for free!

Yes, I am well aware of that and I reported it to a mod, referencing the post and Quote from the sticky at the top of the Other Norton Product Board, but since it has not been moved back - I guess the mod thinks it has more to do with NSS then ID Safe??
The important thing is that you got an answer to your question.
