Norton Identity Safe on iPad not recognizing PC vault password

I have NIS version 19.7.1.5 installed and working fine on 5 PCs. I used Identity Safe and have a vault.

I have an iPad and have downloaded and installed the app for Identity Safe.  When I log into my Norton Account and attempt to enter my Identity Safe password I get the message "You need to setup IDSafe account."

Documentation I find indicates it should be accessing my existing PC vault.  I have seen similar messages in other forums with no resolution.  Normal support is unresponsive to this issue, saying resolution is in this forum.  (Not cool.)

I was to use the ID Safe on my iPad.  How do I get to the vault?

Hi GregStreet.

Welcome to the Community.

You say you have a "vault" but is it an online vault.  For all the devices to be able to work together you need to move your existing PC based vault - online.

As I am not currently using Identity safe I cannot tell you exactly how to do this but I think it should be fairly easy to find.  If it is not, come back and I am sure there are many others here far wiser and better informed than me on this subject.

Good luck.

If you need to move your Identity Safe to an online vault.....

Just in case, Backup your Identity Safe Data.

From the main NIS UI, click on Settings - Web - Identity Safe. Then click on configure beside Move Data Online. Follow the instructions from there.

Things happen. Export/Backup your Identity Safe data.
