When I start up Internet Explorer 9 32 bit I get my home pages but no Norton Toolbar. It does not appear in the toolbar list or on manage add-ons. However if I click on a direct link to a website i.e. in an email IE9 appears with the norton tool bar. Can someone help me with this please.
I've attached two screen grabs of the manage add-ons screens. toolbar problem 1 show what it looks like when I open up IE9 from a direct link to a page and toolbar problem 2 show what it looks like when I open up IE9 from the desktop scortcut or start menu

Hi hastran,
Are you using pinned sites to open your home pages? Pinned sites open without any add-ons or Browser Helper Objects running. This is a security feature that Microsoft incorporated into the pinned site concept.

No I'm just using the shortcut on the quick launch bar or on the start menu
