I would prefer to use Firefox over IE. However, I can not find the Norton Toolbar on Firefox 13.
I updated my Norton Security Suite from Comcast as instructed on here. Downloaded the latest version of Norton 6.2.1.5
I kept running Live Update and rebooting as instructed on here. I now see that 'Norton is up to date. No Updates Available" showing on my Norton Live Update.
I lave the latest Firefox 13.0.1.
And I have a Gateway Laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium.
For the longest time, I couldn't find anything when I clicked Firefox "Add-Ons, Extentions" I could see Add-ons but not extentions. So I reset my Firefox profile. So now I can see Extentions listed. However, Norton Toolbar is not there.

This is a situation I have come across before in NIS, N360 and NSS with previous FF upgrades. Following the exact procedure that follows has produced the desired results of the NTB appearing in FF. Do not add any addtional steps such as running the Norton Removal Tool, as that will cause you to lose your ID Safe, customised settings and will also remove any other Norton programs you may happen to have installed.
Please do the following in the order I list:
If you use ID Safe for logins, please backup your ID Safe Data (as a precationary measure). The ID Safe Data should be automatically transferrd to your new NSS install.
Totally uninstall Firefox
Download a fresh copy of Firefox 13.0.1 from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/
Install the fresh copy of firefox.
Download a fresh copy of Norton Security Suite from here: http://xfinity.comcast.net/constantguard/Products/
Please note, you will have to click onthe No Thanks button on the Constant Guard Protection suite popupin order to see the Get It Now button which will start your NSS download.
Remove NSS using Programs and Features (Add/Remove Programs if you are using XP) - do not run the NRT as you'll want to keep your Identitiy Safe and other settings.
Install the fresh copy of NSS. Run LiveUpdate as many times as necessary for it to respond that there are "no updates found" (rebooting as requested by LiveUpdate). NSS version (Support > About) should be 6.2.1.5.
Once all that is done in the order I am asking for you to do it, please check Firefox 13.0.1 and verify the version number and also look at "Add-on's" and see if Norton Toolbar 2012.7.3.1 and Norton Vulnerability Protection 11.0.0.243-1 are listed and shown as enabled.
Do you now have the Norton Toolbar in FF 13.0.1?
Please let us know how this goes.

I'm having the same issue but it's in Norton 360. I can see the Norton Toolbar in the add-on section but it show it an older version (2012.5.4.6) and it will not allow me to enable it. My current version of 360 is 6.2.1.5. And when I check for update, I'm told I'm up-to-date.
How can I get the tool bar to show in FireFox 13.0.1??
Thanks

Hi Bob,
Just to double check, you have run LiveUpdate (rebooting when requsted) until LiveUpdate responds "no updates found". It must state "no updates found" - some folks are getting the following two confused. You do in fact need to get as far as the second one.
Please verify you are gettings as far as the "no updates found". Then if that doesn't update the NTB to the correct add-on, we'll need to do as I outlined above - excpet the download for N 360 version 6 is located here:
http://www.norton.com/n360s_6 for the N 360 Standard
or http://www.norton.com/n360p_6 for N 360 Premier
Please keep us posted.

Hi,
You might try uninstalling FF, rebooting and reinstalling FF, reboot and run live update.
You are trying to convince both FF and 360 that they need to review their relationship

Hi
I uninstalled and re-installed N360 with the file I downloaded from you link. At this time all is well. Now there is another issue as far as the toolbar is concurn. In IE9 the version snown in the add-on is 5.4.6 and the version in FF13 is 7.3.1. What gives?

The IE and Firefox addons are separate components. Each is updated as necesssary, and Firefox requires more frequent updates due to its accelerated release schedule than does IE.

Hi Bob - I will assume there is a 2012 in front of both of those version numbers and that would make each of them the correct version number for each of the browsers.
The NTB version number is different for each browser.

Thanks guys for all your help, I am now straight on the version numbers and YES there is 2012 in front of the version numbers. As far as I'm concerned my problem has been solved.

Glad you got it sorted Bob!
