I did all these steps in the order that you requested. I redownloaded both Firefox & Norton after removing them. I kept updating Norton and rebooting till it said "No Updates Found"
I still don't have Notorn showing up on the Add-On Extentions. Just a Skype add on that is incompatbale and something called Motive Extension 1.0. I have no idea what the Motive extention is. Do you think that may be the problem?

Hi,
Have you also rebooted?

I just rebooted for the first time after getting the "No More Updates Found" message on Norton.
Still no Norton items showing in my Firefox Add-On's - Extentions. ... Very confusing.

Hi,
Sorry for the issue you are facing.
Can you try following options:
Option1:
In following location, we will have install.rdf file, Open this file in Notepad and check Min version 11.0 and max version 13.*
If you have max version is 11.0 or 12.0, then change it to 13.* and check this issue again?
<em:minVersion>11.0</em:minVersion>
<em:maxVersion>13.*</em:maxVersion>
Location for install.rdf file C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85E
N360_6.x.x.x, x is the version number
Option2:
If Norton toolbar is not listed FF->tools->Addons->Extension, We need to make sure the entries in Extensions.ini file are correct or not.
Check this N360 folder name under C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\N360_6.x.x.x
And add these(mentioned below) in Extensions.ini entries (if it is not there ), with Exact Product version N360_6.x.x.x (e.g. N360_6.2.1.5) which you have seen above
ExtensionDirs]
Extension1=C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F
Extension2=C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\N360_6.x.x.x\coFFPlgn
The numbers Extension1 and Extension2 will vary accordingly depending on the other addons present in your Firefox
Extensions.ini file present in this location, %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\SomeRandomeValu
Restart the system and check Norton Toolbar is listed or not?
Let us know how it goes?
Thanks,
Senthil

I did the steps here for Option 1.
I do indeed have Minimum 11 and Maximum 13 as listed above.
I was able to open both locations listed in Option 2.
Both Extension 1 and Extension 2 folders opened for me.
I'm not sure what to do after I open these 2 extension folders --
For the IPSFFPlgn folder: I see 2 folders: Chrome & Componets
I also see: Chrome.manifest, icon, & install (RDF File)
For the coFFPLgn folder: I see 3 folders: Chrome, Componets, Content
And again: Chrome.manifest, icon, & install (RDF File).
Not sure what I'm looking for from here.
I have no idea where to find the %appdata% folder you mentioned.

Ok, I just found the Extentions file in App Data.
Still not sure what to do after opening it.
File name: AppData>Roaming>Mozilla>Firefox>Profiles>0vdqfxw1.
Contents: 4 Folders: Chrome, Components, Defaults, Local
Plus: Chrome.manifest & install (RDF)

Anyone have any ideas here? Still no luck with Norton toolbar showing up in Firefox at all!

Hi NIGHTWING22DG,
Open run command from desktop(Start->Run or Hold windows key and Press R Key ).
Type this %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles you will see a folder with some randomvalue with.default name
You will have extension folder, extension.ini file in the same location(%appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\SomeRandomeValu
Please open Extensions.ini file, In that file add these(mentioned below) in Extensions.ini entries (if it is not there ), with Exact Product version N360_6.x.x.x (e.g. N360_6.2.1.5) which you have seen above

In the Extentions.ini folder all I have is a folder and XPI file called: {b9db16a4-6edc-47ec-a1f4-b86292ed211d}
There is a {0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7} file in C:ProgramData\Norton.
Do you want me to move that file to the Extenions.ini folder in app data extentions? Or just create a new empty folder with that name?

I hope Senthill does not mind me trying to help.
Hopefully I can clarify things for you NIGHTWING22DG as I have been quietly following this thread myself in hopes of learning something.
Basically this is what Senthil desires you to do.
- In the run box(Start > Run) type %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, then press OK. (Inset in screenshot below)
This will display the following page: (Notice Senthill calls it : %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\SomeRandomeValue.defaul) You may notice mine is ub3oww4n.default
Once you open the file above, you will see the extention.ini file and once it is opened it will produce the notepad onm the loqwer part of the screenshot.
Check to see if what Senthil has is listed in that file:
If those entires are not in theextention.ini file, add the entries to the file. The engine number will be the same engine number as you saw when you went to the file under C:\ProgramData\Norton\{0C55C096-0F1D-4F28-AAA2-85EF591126E7}\N360_6.x.x.x - in my case I saw this:
I already have those files present and the engine number 6.0.0.145 is the same as what is listed above.
One more hint in cse yu are not aware. In Notepad in order to make the text appear on one line and make it easier to read, select Format and uncheck Word Wrap.
If still not clear post back and we'll try again to clarify.
