This has happened three times to me now. I use the cloud version of identity safe to sync logins and I'm using Norton 360 v6 build 6.2.1.5 and IE 9. Within the last week, three times (twice on one computer, once on another) when logging into ID safe I've been told I have to log into my Norton Account again. (I have checked the box that says keep me logged in.) When I try to log in, it says I have the wrong credentials. I can log into my account from IE or through Norton 360 using the same credentials. I tried changing my account password and that worked for a while then gave me the same problem. After trying to log in about 20-30 times, it will eventually let me in (so far--I'm afraid it won't in the future). Any solutions?

I have to admit I do not know how long the cookies that keep you logged in last on Norton Account. I know some on other sites "keep me logged in" last 10 days. So it is possible if logged in and told to stay logged in within say a week on each system, then it is possible that they would expire within the same week or so.
When I try to log in, it says I have the wrong credentials. I can log into my account from IE or through Norton 360 using the same credentials.
Please tell us what you consider logging in from IE (are you referring to logging in thru the Norton Tool Bar)? I assume Norton 360 means thru the settings function. Which one says wrong credenmtials? Are you sure it says log into online vault instead of log into Local vault?

Depending on which one you are trying to log into - they have different passwords - so are you sure you have the correct passwords for each login?

I've been using the cloud version for several months now, and this just started happening. I've been using IE and the ID safe at about the same consistency for all that time, so I don't think it's cookies...
When I say log in from IE, that wasn't exactlycorrect. I log into the account through Norton 360, using Account->Access Norton Account, where I use the same credentials that I use when trying to log in through the ID safe.
When I try to log in through ID safe under "log into your Norton Account" (a precourser to being able to log into ID safe on-line), I get the message that says I'm using the wrong credentials and it won't let me into the Norton Account. Again, the credentials I use are exactly the same as allow me to successfully log in through Access Norton Account in the main Norton 360 screen.
On the positive side, after trying to log into my Norton Account through ID safe about 15-20 times and getting the "wrong credentials" message, it did finally accept my log in through this computer last night, and when I started up this computer this morning, all I got was the log into ID safe (online), which worked just fine.
I've made a back-up of my ID safe, just to be safe!

Are you tlking about the screen below when you try to login?
If this is the screen you are talking about, I have seen it before where the server was having a glitch and folks were able to sign into their Norton Account via the Main Page > Acount, but could not do it thru the screen above using ID Safe. So if there were a glitch on the server for that, then it may do what you have seen. You tried 20 times, the server came back on line - to 100% or whatever and got in. Then this AM the server was still up so you got in.
I suggest you keep an eye on it and see if all goes well......and the backup is always a good idea!
