Problems with Norton 2014 Internet Security and Windows Pro 64 bit.

I just installed Norton 2014 Internet Security and when I opened both Firefox and IE10 and tried to type passwords into either browser the browsers froze. As soon as I disabled Norton toolbar, passwords entered fine again. This never happened until I updated Norton Internet security today. Has this happened to anyone else?

Have you restarted your computer? This can fix all kinds of issues, especially after installs or updates.

Be sure you have run LiveUpdate manually a few times, rebooting as necessary, until no updates are available.

You are welcome.

Rebooting works its magic one more time.

Re: Problems with Norton 2014 Internet Security and Windows Pro 64 bit.

I started getting random freezes again. Turning off Norton toolbar fixes the problem immediately. I tried reinstalling Norton Internet security 2014, but the problem still occurs. Logging off and back on seems to fix the problem for a while, but it still randomly occurs.  This problem never happened to me with previous versions of the Norton tool bar.

Hi johnleb,

I've sent you a Private Message (List Private Messagesrequesting logs. If you're able to send them, that would be great. Thanks.

Also, can please provide following information.

>Are you facing browser freeze issue with both Firefox and IE

>Firefox and IE version

>Norton Internet Security product version

>How did you update to Norton Internet Security ver21? Updated through Support->check for New version? Or Did you install a full version of NIS v21?

Any details you can provide are appreciated. Thanks.
