Norton gives the red exclamation point ! when I try to 'share' a website link.

When I view the page that shows the problems, Norton offers me the chance to SHARE it.

That gets the red exclamation point ! too. This is overkill.

I tried both share programs, and I received the same warning.

Hi,

Share feature only blocks the URLs which are rated as Malicious or Fraudulent i.e. If the URL's rating is "Unsafe" with red cross symbol you are not allowed to share the URL. And URL's with other rating's like Safe,Caution & Unknown are not blocked from being shared. This is the behavior of the product. If you feel like even the caution rated URLs are also to be blocked from being shared, please post it as a suggestion under our product suggestions area and we might have a look at it for future releases. Since this product and feature is completely new, we would like to get more feedback/suggestions about it, so that we could make the product better.

If you look closer at the picture [above the LIKE link], you will see that I was trying to 'share' Norton.

Why would Norton say that Norton is dangerous?

The site ' twitter.com/intent' is currently rated green in safeweb.norton.com . Now Can you try once to share .

I would have replied sooner to let you know that the all of the share links were working again, but didn't know how to find my post. Sorry.
