No problems were found when I launched the support scan.

I'm not sure how to get the engine number.  I couldn't find the Program Data folder in the C drive.  I do have vista - does that change anything?  sorry.

I went into the Norton program and for the 360 it said that I have version 5.2.2.3

Thanks Harley55 - that's the second time I have seen 6.0.1.2 in the .rdf install file with the folks who are having problems.  I will continue searching and keep you posted if I get anything out of it.

I went to: http://updatecenter.norton.com/

and updated my version of Norton 360 to version 6, and ran live update 2 or 3 times.  problem fixed.  THANKS!

BTW, the .rdf insatll fileis located in the same location in Vista - I just veified it on my laptop.
