Does Trojan.Gen2 affect Macs?

A scan of my system revealed two instances of Trojan.Gen2's in .zip files insides Java Caches. I've manually deleted the files but I'm still wondering, does Trojan.Gen2 affect Mac at all? Another thread implied they might not which would be very reassuring.

 

The listing for Trojan.Gen only mentioned Windows systems but Trojan.Gen2 didn't specify.

According to the Response team, it is most likely you had a Windows PE Trojan. Deletion should have removed it successfully.
