I do understand that Symantec does not always have time to view these forums, but its proven to.be the most helpful thus far to me. I have called technical support and told them, got transferred to the engineering team and they had no idea what the issues were, so they told me, " NIS is supposed to work that way". I find that hardly believable. :(

Mike here.  I just wanted to let you know that we are quite literally feverishly re-working our browser protection. It's taking a lot longer than I would have liked to re-jigger things for Safari 5.1 (shoulda been called v6, given all the changes) while doing this insane balancing act of having to update our protection for the rapidly mutating, er, changing Firefox, which is doing a new version every six week.  Plus we want to give you Chrome support as well.

I literally deal with this several times a day and when I can give you better answers, I will. Firefox support is rumbling along, but it is my intention to provide browser support to Safari, Chrome and Firefox. If I give you a date and something happens where we have to push back the date, everyone will get upset, all I can say is that we are pushing Dev hard to get this done.
